IT’S MORE THAN JUST A MEAL
Northside ISD is continuing to offer free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch meals to eligible students during the 2023-2024 school year.
Thanks to recent USDA waiver extensions, all students will continue to receive free breakfasts and lunches throughout the school year regardless of eligibility. This is for both in-person and virtual learners.
Families are reminded of the importance of applying for the Free & Reduced Lunch program. The application process ensures that qualifying families will continue to receive free or reduced meals even after the current waiver comes to an end.
Students who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunches and breakfasts may also qualify for in-home affordable internet, waived fees for SAT/ACT tests, reduced cost for Advanced Placement exams, free transcripts, and/or waived college application fees. In addition, accurate data ensures that valuable resources remain in place for many supplemental programs and services that directly benefit students and families.
All information provided on applications is handled confidentially and used solely to determine eligibility and to verify data.
